Below is a picture of the reason it has been almost eight months since we've sent out an update. We love our new
home but it required a complete renovation and Matthew's honeydo list just keeps growing...

Back in October, we made our annual trek to the cabin in the Smokies.

Christmas morning...

And Christmas afternoon and pretty much every day since. He never seems to get tired of Thomas.

Shortly after Christmas, Foster was christened. He was REALLY psyched about it.

Our friend Sam took our family Christmas picture during halftime of a Saints game. He also caught this moment,
which pretty much sums up our feelings about the whole season.

Right after Christmas, we also got to see our friends Adrienne and Manoli and their daughter, Maia. Henry's shirt
was a real icebreaker and Maia and Henry hit it off right away.

Santa brought Henry a bicycle, which he learned to ride by coasting without pedals. After two months, he was riding
with pedals and, as he likes to tell complete strangers, "I don't need training wheels!" This pic is of a first
venture.

Mardi Gras came early this year and the first weekend was COLD.

It's hard work being a bead magnet.

The guys take a day off from "taking pictures of the ladies" (Henry's answer to "What does Daddy do?) for Algiers Point
Friendship Day.

Sledding Southern-style at Algiers Point Friendship Day.

The twins.

Easter egg hunting at Delcazal Park in the Point.

Foster and Henry on the Northshore in March.

Forget Easter eggs and candy...nothing's cooler than a Spiderman four-wheeler.

Over Easter break, we took a mini-vacation to Dauphin Island. Katrina moved the shoreline -- you thought catching
fish off that pier was hard before...

In April, our friends Ellen and Jason came down for a long weekend and Henry went on his first streetcar ride, after
a trip through the French Market where we purchased yet another body part of a deceased alligator.

The whole family got together for French Quarter Festival, just a ferry ride across from our new house.

The most recent big event was Henry's "graduation" from preschool. Click on the picture below to see a video of
Henry getting down.

SEE YA LATER, ALLIGATOR!
